Energy resource center

Richard Yen & Associates, on behalf of Sempra Utilities and San Diego Gas & Electric, was engaged in September of 2007 to establish the programmatic requirements for constructing a new Energy Center in San Diego, California.

The mission of this facility is to serve as a one-stop idea shop where customers can find the most efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sensitive solutions to their energy needs.  This venue for the twenty-first century provides technical assistance, energy and air quality computer tools and simulations, state-of-the-art multi-media facilities, and energy, air quality and environmental information, resources and guidance.

The intent of the study is to analyze the spatial and operational requirements of six, or more, identified business units that may have a presence at this new facility.
