uc path

In a design build competition, RY+A teamed with Hensel Phelps Construction to provide a proposal for the UCPath Center.

The project is a 53,000 sq. ft. build out of the third floor of an existing three-story office building owned by the University of California to create a University-wide Shared Services Center.

This center will deliver payroll and human resources services to UC employees, while providing an appropriate space that creates a compelling work environment and system-wide call center.  The mission of our design was to provide the client with sustainable long tern cost savings through efficiency, flexibility, durability, and energy consumption.

We also wanted to inspire administrative excellence by enhancing the work environment through employee amenities, such as a fitness room with showers, a new outdoor dining area, and informal break areas and collaborative spaces.
