The project was the major renovation of an existing 2,200 sq. ft. single-family residence into a 2,700 sq. ft. Hospice Home that accommodates four residents and a Nurse’s Station.

Careful and delicate planning and design was required to produce a location for Sharp to provide the end-of-life care they envisioned.

​

The goal was to design the home with all the support systems to enable staff to provide the best palliative care, without losing the setting and warmth of the traditional home.

​

As a result of thorough investigation and research, a program was developed that Sharp will use as they continue to build more Hospice Homes.
