The building is of contemporary design, accenting the revitalized culture of an older San Diego neighborhood.

La Maestra is a cornerstone for this neighborhood, serving over 30 different cultures.  The building incorporates a two-level subterranean parking structure as well as surface parking for more than 100 cars.

The project has achieved certification under the U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system at the “Gold Certification” level.

This project is one of the first private developments in San Diego, and certainly one of the first medical facilities in the country, to attain this prestigious certification.
